Here are more of the deck pictures with the spindles on for uncle Jason, and whoever else wants to look. We had our first official meal on the deck last night. The weather was perfect, and the company was good too!
Here are the kids at my bargain deck table and chairs. We went to just "look" and price out what a table and chairs would cost and found this set for $85! I love a good deal.
Here I am enjoying using that power drill. Thanks for all your comments. And yes, Jason and Aaron do nice work. It's been fun to see it all come together.

We've really enjoyed our patio over the years. During the mild and low mosquito July, it has been exceptionally prime conditions for use. Hopefully as you join the al fresco crowd, the good conditions will continue for a few more months.
Today we did set out a couple yellow jacket traps since the yellow jackets have been flying by for carbs and protein :-( .

That is a fabulous deck, Valerie. Benches around the side is SUCH a good idea - we've had that thought, too. Doesn't interfere with the sight-line, but keeps little kids from tumbling...
