update

Posting three days in a row has to be a record for me except maybe when we were in GA getting Miss T. Anyway, when I was having my sappy feely moment last night I had every intention of ending it with the lastest on our adoption finalization but it just didn't flow, so I thought I'd save it.

Here is the lastest, I heard from our agency that if everything goes as expected we will be one step closer to having Miss T forever in our family, legally, she's been there in our hearts a LONG time ago) the beginning of May. In other words, the legal risk portion will be done on May 7th.

Please pray this happens. I believe it will. I just have to ask. Thanks!

YAAAAHOOOOOO!

That's so exciting, I know it's going to go smoothly. Take a deep breath and take in God's presence. He's in all the details, friend!!

I remember all these same feelings as we waited for our daughter's adoptions to be completed. They both had the same legal risk status too. It will just feel so good to have it be "done". She has always been your girl and giving her your last name will be so sweet. I will be praying for your adoption and that everything goes smoothly. God is so good!!!

Blessings

Dear God,
Thank you for making T a part of our family. You know that no-matter what a piece of paper says she is and ALWAYS will be a true member of our family, but right now we ask as it becomes legal and final in the eyes of the state - that everything would go smoothly so that we can all sleep peacefully at night knowing we can continue to watch her grow into a beautiful young woman of Christ. We thank you for the blessing of family and pray that you would continue to watch over our family and bring us closer to each other and to you.
In Jesus name, Amen!

You are in my thoughts and prayers every day. I always thought moms were supposed to be the teachers, but the lessons I've learned from you (and Jessie) touch me deeper than anything I've experienced before. We are a truly blessed family.

It will be so good to have all those final legal things taken care of.

Love,

Mom

How exciting (and nerve-wracking too I'm sure). This next month will go by quicker than you expect. I'll keep you guys in my prayers, but I have no doubt that everything will go through just fine. :)

Thank you Jesus for a court date!! We know everything has happened in God's perfect timing since the beginning of this whole process, But it always feels good to know what that timing is :)!!! So, we are very happy for you, and for the family God designed as the Stevensons. Nathaniel was dancing around singing "They have a court date, They have a court date..."

Love you lots,
Ann
