If you think of it please pray for T's adoption. We heard before Christmas that they were hoping to have a court date in February to be done with the legal risk portion. That's really all we know. The legal risk portion of this is now starting to feel very long. I had been doing very well, God has protected us in all of this and I am grateful. We haven't let us bother us. Last week, it hit me a little bit one night and well. . . now, it is time for her to be ours forever.
Please join us in praying for a smooth court date very soon and then a smooth finalization process early this spring. Thank you again to all of you for your words of prayer and encouragement. Our family feels them. Sweet T is a joyful addition to our family and we really can't imagine what life was like before her.

I'm sure you know this one already, but it's a verse that I need many reminders of: "For I know the plans I have for you," declares the Lord, "plans to proper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you." Just remember to breathe every once in awhile :)
